China (Changsha) Comprehensive Cross-Border E-Commerce Pilot Zone Launched
On January 23, the launching ceremony of the China (Changsha) Comprehensive Cross-Border E-Commerce Pilot Zone was held at the Changsha Jinxia Bonded Logistics Center. Vice Governor He Baoxiang attended .
According to the Changsha Municipal People’s Government, Changsha’s open economy and cross-border e-commerce have yielded fruitful results in 2018. The total import and export volume increased by 40%, 33 percentage points higher than the national average, ranking first among the provincial capitals in central China. There are 129 cross-border e-commerce pilot enterprises. The cross-border e-commerce transaction volume is expected to increase by more than 60%.
The pilot zone will further highlight Changsha’s advantages in location, platform, and policy, and build an open channel for the flourishing imports and exports.
At the launching ceremony, He Baoxiang awarded the plates of “Key Park in the China (Changsha) Comprehensive Cross-Border E-Commerce Pilot Zone” to the Changsha High-Tech Industrial Development Zone, Huanghua Comprehensive Bonded Zone, and Jinxia Bonded Logistics Center respectively.
