On January 3, Chen Xiangqun, CPC Hunan Provincial Standing Committee member and executive vice governor; Cai Zhenhong, CPC Hunan Provincial Standing Committee member and Publicity Department director; and, Wu Guiying, vice governor, inspected the Malanshan Video Cultural Creative Industrial Park construction progress in Changsha.
The park was unveiled in December 2017, and 171 registered companies have located in the park.
The provincial leaders visited the Mango Malanshan Square, TVZONE Headquarters Base, and cultural media enterprises such as Seven Dimension, Youyang Zhixin, and Zhiliao Youth. They held a meeting at the Malanshan Video Cultural Creative Industrial Park Management Committee later, to listen to the construction progress report.
It was said that the Malanshan Video Cultural Creative Industrial Park construction is a major decision made by the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee and the People’s Government of Hunan Province. It is an important measure to build Hunan into a strong cultural powerhouse and to promote industrial upgrading. The relevant departments of the province and Changsha City should focus on the idea of “Zhongguancun Science Park in the north and Malanshan Creative Park in the south”, and cooperate and coordinate with each other to create itself a high-quality video creative cultural industry highland.
Efforts should be made to plan and optimize the functional layout; adhere to the concepts of “wide vision, clear thinking, high starting, and new technology”; innovate the investment mode; and, have more enterprises introduced. It is necessary to organize and strengthen overall coordination; integrate the national resources; give play to the advantages of the province and cities; and, form a joint force, according to the conference.
The provincial leaders requested to plan and create a brand image; organize influential activities; and, build landmark and visible projects, to publicize Hunan cultural and creative brands. We should also arrange and strive for policy support; enhance publicity and promotion; simplify administrative examination and approval; and, establish a coordination mechanism, to guide the content production orientation, they added.
