Gold, Silver, and Jade Wares from Song and Ming Dynasties Exhibited in Changsha

On December 28, an exhibition of gold, silver, and jade wares from the Song and Ming dynasties unearthed in Nanjing was held in the Changsha Museum. The luxurious exhibits showcase the prosperity of the Song and Ming dynasties in economy, culture, and handicraft industry.

The exhibition was hosted by the Changsha Culture, Radio, Press and Publication Bureau, and the Changsha Municipal Administration of Cultural Heritage; and, organized by the Changsha Museum and Nanjing Museum Administration. A total of 120 pieces (sets) of gold, silver, and jade wares from the Nanjing Museum Administration were exhibited. These exquisite and elegant wares reflect superb craftsmanship at that time, and have high artistic and academic values.
The exhibition is open to the public for free.
