The International Friendship Cities Exchange and Cooperation Award aims to commend cities that have made outstanding contributions to international friendship cities exchanges and cooperation. The award winners are selected by the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries and the China International Friendship Cities Association every two years. This year’s selection was made from 31 provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities, and 486 cities based on their friendly-city achievements. Among the 2,571 international friendly-cities in China, Changsha’s friendly city, the city of St. Paul of the USA; and Changsha’s economic and trade cultural cooperation cities, namely, Kansas City of the USA, and the city of Mogilev of Belarus, were awarded the Friendship Cities Exchange and Cooperation with China Award.
