2018 Hunan Traditional Handicraft Revitalization Achievements Exhibition Opens November 16
The 2018 Hunan Traditional Handicraft Revitalization Achievements Exhibition is held at the Hunan Dalu Treasure and Antique Town, Changsha on November 16.
The exhibition is hosted by the Hunan Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, and undertaken by the People’s Government of Furong District, Changsha City. It aims to further promote the traditional Chinese culture and the craftsmanship spirit, and to help more traditional fine crafts to be integrated into modern life.
The 7-day exhibition includes 3 revitalization achievements exhibitions on Miao silver ornaments making craftsmanship, Tujia brocade crafts, and Miao embroidery; and 19 special exhibitions on traditional crafts, such as firing techniques of Liling underglaze-colored porcelain and Tantou woodblock new year painting skills. Over 50 intangible cultural heritage inheritors are invited to present the beauty of intangible cultural heritages to the audience.
