Over 80 thousand charging piles to be built in Changsha
On Jan 8, it is learned from Changsha Municipal Development and Reform Commission that Changsha Special Plan for Electric Vehicles Charging Infrastructure (2017-2020) (hereinafter referred to as the Plan) has been issued. According to the Plan, 114 charging stations and over 80,000 charging stations will have been built in Changsha by 2020, which is expected to meet the needs of 83,000 electric vehicles. The coordinated and orderly development of charging piles serving bus, taxi, logistics and environmental sanitation, the public and special users will be pushed ahead respectively to form a unified, open and competitive charging service market.
On Jan 8, approximately 50 charging piles have been newly built in a parking lot near Yingpan Road. Quite a number of electric vehicles is recharging. [Photo by He Wenbin, Changsha Evening News]
