Changsha welcomes tens of thousands of tourists during the New Year’s Day Holiday

On Dec 31, the first day of the New Year's Day holiday, the shower and cloudy weather did not affect the enjoyment of the trip. According to Changsha Municipal Tourism Bureau, the major scenic spots in Changsha have enjoyed more tourists this year, and a wave of New Year’s activities with a variety of characteristics is also coming.
According to the statistics of the Municipal Tourism Bureau, the popularity of all the major scenic spots under monitor has increased this year. The biggest increase was in Daiwei Mountain Forest Park, Liuyang, which received 0.68 million visitors, an increase of 61.9 percent over last year. In addition, Yuelu Mountain Scenic Area received 18,000 visitors, a 12.5% year-on-year increase. Window of the World and the Undersea World received 0.62 million visitors, a year-on-year growth of 6.9%. Hunan forest botanical garden received 0.22 million visitors, a 10% increase year-on-year. The newly included Yuelu Academy receives 0.35 million visitors.
