Economic exchanges: Changsha delegations to Australia and New Zealand
In recent days, the Changsha delegation headed by Qiu Jixing, deputy mayor, organized by Changsha Committee of CCPIT, and made up of representatives from and 14 enterprises came to Australia and New Zealand to attend the “2017 Australasia-China Cities Summit & Business Forum”. This marks the writing of Changsha chapter in “Maritime Silk Road”.
The stands of Changsha enterprises attracted a large number of people at the exhibition, showing its great popularity in Melbourne, Australia. Master of Hunan embroidery from Qingzhuhu Co. Ltd. gave a live performance of two-sided embroidery, whose exquisite skills vividly showed Changsha intangible cultural heritage. 12 enterprises including Ausnutria China were awarded international prizes such as “Outstanding Brands Award”. The Australia side planned to invest 1.8 billion yuan in building up a Brisbane Town. Two institutions were formally inaugurated in Wellington, namely, the New Zealand Wellington Zhaotai Medical Group co-established by Hunan Zhaotai Medical Group and New Zealand MAIAGHAN medical research center, and the “Changsha-Wellington Innovative Transfer Center” co-established by Zhaotai Medical Group and state technology trasnfer center of New Zealand Victoria University.
