The Belt and Road Initiative international cultural industry park will be built
On May 16, People’s Government of Changsha city and Silk Road international chamber of commerce have signed a strategic cooperation agreement in Beijing. With a bilateral investment of 26.3 billion yuan, the program “the Belt and Road Initiative international cultural industry park” will be constructed in Changsha. Vice Mayor Qiu Jixing attended the contract signing ceremony.
The program plans to be located in Ningxiang High-tech Industrial Development Zone. Tang West Market cultural industry investment group and Hunan Cultural Art Industry Group Co., Ltd will invest 26.3 billion yuan in the program, which has an estimated area of 455.5 hectares. Four Cultures will be deeply explored including Silk Road culture, historic culture, folk art culture and featured culture. One Center (central artworks business center” and One Garden “silk road international exhibition garden) “Two Headquarters” (Silk Road international chamber of commerce and commercial association headquarter and transnational corporations members of Chinese enterprises headquarter in Changsha) and Two fairs (Silk Road international commodity trade fair and world artworks and China’s overseas artworks touring fair), thus an international culture and art industry clusters at billion-level will be built.
Qiu believed that strategical partnership between Changsha and Silk Road international chamber of commerce has initiated a new starting point for win-win pattern. Both sides should work together to boost communications between Changsha and countries along route of “the Belt and Road Initiative”, facility connection, smooth trade, flexible financing and satisfied livelihood by virtue of the international trade and commerce advantages of the chamber of commerce, so Changsha can speed up pace of creating national center city and become a new place for opening up.
