Water situation of Xiangjiang Changsha section is in safe
Changsha had a wide range of rainfall starting from March 17. According to Municipal Flood Control and Drought Relief Headquarters, no casualties and disasters have been reported, nor cases of water logging have been identified and the traffic flow is smooth.
Reportedly, heavy rainfall concentrated in the eastern part of Liuyang city, appearing at 8 o’clock , March 17 to 8 o’clock, March 18. It had moderate rain at the same period of the following two days, the maximum rainfall is 16.7 mm at Jiaohua village station. At present, main stream of Xiangjiang River, Liuyang River, LaodaoRiver and WeishuiRiver tributaries are generally stable. Municipal Flood Control and Drought Relief Headquarters requires that we should pay close attention to the weather forecast, strengthen the scheduling, be well-prepared for mountain torrents defense work, and start duty-shift mode for flood control in24 hours when necessary.
