Passenger Flow Peak Come on Feb. 13th

On Feb. 5th, Hunan met a new round of passenger flow peak, Guangzhou Railway Group send 520000 passengers in Hunan. It has the same passenger flow in recent two days, and the peak continued as well, Feb. 13th (the 17th day of Chinese lunar January) is expected to meet returning journey peak.
On Feb. 6th, Changsha south railway station is expected to send 120000 passengers, railway station 35000 passengers. In order to meet demands of passengers to a great extent, 47 extra temporary passenger trains added in main train stations of Hunan, mainly heading for Guangzhou, Shanghai, Hangzhou, etc.
In terms of remaining tickets, a few train tickets left from Hunan to Guangdong, Shanghai and Beijing presently. While there are adequate tickets supply from Changsha to Wuhan because of short distance, tickets have been sold out leaving for Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Shanghai; and there are enough tickets supply from Changsha south railway station to Guangzhou, Chengdu and Shanghai since Feb. 9th, so passengers had better book railway tickets in advance.
Since the Spring Festival, Changsha-Zhuzhou-Xiangtan intercity railway is the first choice for residents to visit family and friends, especially during the festival, with more than 80% passenger attendance. And Changsha, as the major transfer station, becomes an important site of transportation for passengers, achieving connections between intercity railway, railway station, bus and subway. To optimize passengers transfer, intercity railway of Changsha station defined “Two-way enter the station, passenger transfer within station” pattern of the optimal plan so far.
