Hunan’s 3 World-class Industrial Clusters Thrived in 2020
Since the beginning of the Year of the Ox, Hunan’s enterprises, including Sany, Zoomlion, China Railway Construction Heavy Industry Corporation (CRCHI), and Sunward, are in full production. Over the past month, a variety of star construction machinery worth billions of CNY were delivered from Changsha to foreign construction sites.
Changsha Rolls out 1,575 Major Projects This Year
Changsha released an investment plan for major projects in 2021 on February 20. A total of 1,575 major projects including bundled projects will be rolled out, including 870 on-going projects and 705 new ones. These projects’ total investment is expected to be 1.7604 trillion yuan, with an estimated investment of 391.6 billion yuan in 2021.
Hunan to Invest 400 Billion Yuan in 30 Key Projects
A conference on the implementation of 30 major landmark projects to promote Changsha-Zhuzhou-Xiangtan integration was held on February 20. It announced that a total of 400 billion yuan would be invested in these projects. As of the end of last year, an investment of 63.8 billion yuan has been made, accounting for 16%. This year a total of 39.9 billion yuan is planned.
Hunan’s GDP Growth Tops in China
All the provinces and cities across China have released their latest GDP data in 2020. Among the top 10 major economic provinces in terms of GDP, Hunan’s economic growth rate reached 3.8%, 1.5 percentage points higher than the national average, ranking the first place.
836,800 Tons of Goods Transported Through Railways During...
Between February 11 and 18, Hunan railway delivered 836,800 tons of goods in 14,046 carriages, a remarkable increase of 14% and 12% respectively over last year, according to the China Railway Guangzhou Group.
