Changsha E & T Development Zone witnesses improved greenery
Changsha Economic and Technological Development Zone, a national demonstration development zone located in Xingsha, Changsha county, Hunan province, continues to improve, while investing 400 million yuan ($58.8 million dollars) in 27 greenery projects, covering an area of 80 hectares.

Covering 60 square kilometers, the zone is home to major industries such as automobiles and parts, engineering machinery, electric information, domestic appliances, new materials, food and beverage, printing and packaging, and logistics.

The zone ranks 22nd out of China's 54 national development zones and second in northern and central China. It has also played a key role in Hunan's opening up, reforms and industrialization.
