Hunan “Starlight Project” Class Commenced to Assist Health Project
On September 4th, the first provincial “Starlight Project” (national high-quality medical and health services promotion project) refresher course offered for hospital management staff of poverty-stricken counties commenced. This class is hosted by the Health Development Research Center of the National Health Commission, sponsored by the Medical Administration Department of Health and Family Planning Commission of Hunan Province, and organized by Hunan Province Brain Hospital. More than 200 hospital administrators from 48 poorer counties in the province participated in the class. They discussed the ability improvement of county-level medical and health services to help promote assist-poverty health project.
This refresher course class is the fourth one of “Starlight Project” throughout the country. It has invited administrative staff including presidents, vice presidents, and chiefs of medical institutions of poverty-stricken counties. Various types of courses, including theoretical training, simulated situational teaching, case reviews and site inspection, are set up to introduce the relevant knowledge and, empirical methods of modern hospital management have been introduced in an all-round and three-dimensional way.
This course lasts for 4 days. Live class is opened to the Hunan Stroke Union, Hunan Province Mental Health Medical Unit, and other second-level or above hospitals in the province.
