Changsha High-Tech Zone Included in Top 10 Chinese Parks with Best Advanced Manufacturing Industry
On January 29, CCID Intelligent Equipment Industry Research Center released a list of Top 100 Chinese Parks with Best Advanced Manufacturing Industry in 2020 for the first time. The Changsha National High-Tech Industrial Development Zone (Changsha High-Tech Zone), or Lugu, ranked 10th in this regard nationwide, becoming the only park in Hunan to enter the top 10.
According to the list, the top 9 parks are Zhongguancun Science and Technology Park, Shenzhen High-tech Development Zone, Shanghai Zhangjiang High-tech Development Zone, Suzhou Industrial Park, Wuhan Donghu High-tech Development Zone, Guangzhou Economic Development Zone, Beijing Economic Development Zone, Chengdu High-tech Development Zone and Xi’an High-tech Development Zone.
The ranking means that the Changsha High-Tech Zone has led the national parks in advanced manufacturing industry. Over the past 32 years since its establishment, the park has transformed from a follower to a leader.
More than 380 national industrial parks participated in the selection. Their comprehensive advanced manufacturing development level was evaluated from five dimensions--economic strength, innovation potential, integration capacity, industrial convergence and green impetus. Among them, the economic strength was the primary factor.
