Changsha ranked 7th for government by law
Changsha was ranked seventh, standing out from 100 cities in China, in the evaluation report released by the Research Center for Government by Law of China University of Political Science and Law on Oct 30.
From the report, Changsha surpasses many other cities in terms of performing government functions, resolving social conflicts, administrative decision-making and public satisfaction.
It is the third time that Changsha has been ranked among the top 10 cities in China in praise of government by law. It won the third China Government of Laws Award in 2014 for initiating the rules regulating government's legal work.
The Changsha government has promised to explore new ways in city management and legal culture promotion, to further improve its functions in the future.
