  • Changsha County Ranks 5th Among China’s Top 100 Counties

    On October 8, the People’s Daily announced the results of the study on the high-quality development index of small and medium-sized cities in China 2019. The lists of China’s top 100 counties and county-level cities, and top 100 districts with the strongest comprehensive strength, were released.

  • Changsha Set to Become a National Logistics Hub

    Recently, the National Development and Reform Commission and the Ministry of Transport jointly issued a Notice of Doing a Good Job in National Logistics Hub Construction in 2019. Twenty-three logistics hubs were included in the list of national logistics hub construction in 2019. Among them, Changsha was qualified to become a national logistics hub in the “land port” category.

  • Changsha Included in Top 10 Attractive Cities for Young People

    DTCaijing (dtcj.com), a data organization under China Business Network (CBN), released the Report on 2019 Ideal Cities for Chinese Youths on September 4. The report uses the term “qing he li” to refer to a city’s attractiveness or appeal to young people. Changsha ranked 11th in its attractiveness to young people on the whole. It was 9th in the “Most Attractive Cities for Young People to live” evaluation.

  • Changsha Ranks 7th among 100 Chinese Cities in Sustainable Development

    Recently the China Center for International Economic Exchanges and other institutions released a “Blue Book of Sustainable Development: Evaluation Report on the Sustainable Development of China (2019)”. It ranked the sustainability performances of Chinese cities and provinces.Hunan was 13th in the country in 2018 in terms of sustainable development, the same as 2017. Changsha was 7th nationwide in 2018 in this regard, up one spot from 2017.

  • CNETDZ’s Business Environment Index Ranks First in Central China

    Changsha National Economic & Technical Development Zone (CNETDZ) ranked first in central China and eighth in the whole country in terms of business environment index, according to a report released by the 21st Century Economic Research Institute.

  • Changsha Ranks 14th Among Top 100 Chinese Cities by GDP

    The list of top 100 Chinese cities by GDP was announced recently. Five Hunan cities made the list, including Changsha, Yueyang, Changde, Hengyang, and Zhuzhou. Changsha’s GDP reached 55.38 billion CNY in the first half of this year, with a growth rate of 8.2% and ranking 14th on the list.
