CNETDZ’s Business Environment Index Ranks First in Central China
Changsha National Economic & Technical Development Zone (CNETDZ) ranked first in central China and eighth in the whole country in terms of business environment index, according to a report released by the 21st Century Economic Research Institute.
Changsha Ranks 14th Among Top 100 Chinese Cities by GDP
The list of top 100 Chinese cities by GDP was announced recently. Five Hunan cities made the list, including Changsha, Yueyang, Changde, Hengyang, and Zhuzhou. Changsha’s GDP reached 55.38 billion CNY in the first half of this year, with a growth rate of 8.2% and ranking 14th on the list.
Changsha Rated as Model City of Building International Business Environment
The 2019 China International Business Environment Forum and the Press Conference for the Assessment Report on Chinese Cities’ Business Environment Investment were held in Beijing on the afternoon of July 2. Changsha was rated as a model city in China for building an international business environment.
Changsha’s Livability Competitiveness Ranks First Among Central China Cities
The Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (National Academy of Economic Strategy) and the Economic Daily Press announced the 17th Report on China’s Urban Competitiveness on June 24. According to the report, Changsha is classified as a first-tier and/or second-tier city. Its comprehensive economic competitiveness ranked among the top 20 in China.
