Bus traffic in Changsha

Updated: 2013-03-27

Dear Mayor,

Staying in Changsha for many years I feel this city is like my second tow. Therefore I will be direct in my message. I would like to adress the issue of buses in Changsha. Too many bus drivers drive dangerously: they either drive very fast or very slowy. As a consequence you can wait for a bus for a long time. Sometimes buses don't stop!

Sometimes they take too many risk with a dangerous driving. I believe that this is due to the bus driver monthly incentive. Correct me if I am wrong but I believe the more passenger, the higher the incentive at the end of the month... And we see as a direct consequence crazy bus drivers. This salary incentive really puts people at risk. I think you could adress this issue. I also think that it is time to have special buses lanes and special bikes lanes. I trust that police can enforce this for the better of all.
