Chinese Painting Biennale at Hunan Art Museum (Oct. 24-Nov. 20)

It exhibits more than 70 paper-cut works by paper-cut masters including Qin Shijiao, who is a provincial representative inheritor of the folk paper-cut project. It sings the praise of the New China and promotes traditional Chinese culture.
Sino-Italian Art Exhibition at Changsha IFS (Sept. 27-Oct. 31)
The “Tutte le strade” Sino-Italian Contemporary Art Exhibition opened at the Changsha International Finance Square (IFS) on September 27. The exhibition displays 57 art works by 18 outstanding Chinese and Italian artists, including installation works, oil paintings, ink paintings, photographic works and even original manuscripts. Among them, 23 Italian works are on their debuts in China.
“Chinese Memory: Magnum” Photo Exhibition (Sept. 28-Dec. 8)
A photo exhibition entitled “Chinese Memory: Magnum” opened on September 28 at WHY Art Museum near Middle Xiangjiang Road, Tianxin District, Changsha. Nearly 100 works shot in China by 7 Magnum photographers are displayed, recalling the eventful years in the early days of the founding of New China. The exhibition will last until early December.
Exhibition of Artistic Creations on Hunan’s Historical Events (Sept. 10-20)
The photo, taken on September 10, shows visitors viewing an exhibition of artistic creations about Hunan’s significant historical events in the past hundred years at the Hunan Cultural Center. The touring exhibition came back to Hunan that day after it was displayed in Beijing, Nanjing, Nanchang and other places.
