Realistic Oil Painting Exhibition at Li Zijian Art Museum (Nov. 2-17)

A joint exhibition entitled “From West to East -- The Realistic Oil Painting Exhibition by Chinese Artists in the United States” opened at the Li Zijian Art Museum in Changsha on November 2. It displays 132 oil paintings by 16 Chinese painters in the United States, including Situ Mian, Tu Zhiwei, Zhang Wenxin, Jie Xiangyuan, Zheng Linhua, Wu Weizhan, He An and Guan Fei.
The exhibits are basically in realistic style. They reflect painters’ nature, life and emotional experience, as well as their reminiscence of the humanity history, including portraits, human body sketches, and the paintings showing exotic customs and natural scenery.
The exhibition is open to the public free of charge and will last until November 17.

How to get there:
-Take bus No. 26 or 318 and get off at Yanghu Wetland Park Station;
-Take bus No. 4, 206, 207, 222, or 938 and get off at West Xiangfulu Bridge Station, then walk 100m northward along South Xiaoxiang Road.
