Some of the exhibits
An exhibition displaying 120 masterpieces of 28 modern Chinese painting masters will open at the Li Zijian Art Museum on January 26. It will be another art feast after Qi Baishi’s painting exhibition launched at the museum last year.
The works to be displayed are iconic works of modern Chinese painting masters including Wu Changshuo, Qi Baishi, Xu Beihong, Zhang Daqian, Li Keran, and Wu Zuoren.
“The works of these masters are brilliant, and some of them are exhibited to the public for the first time. Visitors, through the exhibition, can get to know history, cultivate artistic taste, and feel the cultural connotation and spiritual value contained,” said Li Zijian, the curator of the exhibition.
The exhibition will last until April 7, 2019.
