The opening ceremony started with an obeisance to Confucius. The children wrote the first "人", the Chinese character meaning “person” during the activity of ‘blessing of the teacher’, which laid a foundation of life, "learn to be a person first, then to be a good student."
The event ends in a reading of Disciples Gauge by children and their parents. The opening ceremony of this summer camp helped students and their parents to better understand Chinese traditional culture and experience its charm.
