A total of 92 Hunan individuals and groups from all walks of life were picked out after governmental recommendations, online voting, public discussions and expert review.

Judges and the public spoke highly of all nominees for their contributions to society through their exemplary personalities and good deeds.

Decent people who embody traditional virtues and help build up positivity and social relations make our lives better and keep our spirits up, local media reported.
