Self-driving taxis are undergoing tests on public roads in Changsha, capital of central China's Hunan Province. Changsha has introduced regulations to standardize and facilitate the testing of self-driving vehicles. The city is planning to carry out tests on 175 km of urban roads and closed test roads.

Changsha Adds New Areas to Test Self-driving Vehicles
The Changsha Municipal People’s Government held a press conference on September 15. It announced that there will be more open roads for testing self-driving vehicles. Orange Isle, Yanghu Wetland Park, and Jinxia logistics Park are added as new areas for testing self-driving vehicles. Self-driving vehicles at Orange Isle and Yanghu Wetland Park are supposed to be used to transport visitors.
